Vegas (part 1)

Arrived in Vegas late Monday. It is now Thursday so have been here a few days.

Staying at the Rio, which is just off the strip, but not that far. Easy walk across to it. we chose this place as the rooms seemed to be a log bigger than a lot of the other places; and they are!

They have a great steakhouse here (All-American Bar and Grill) that has the best Steak!. Also there is a cool little Cocktail lounge (iBar Ultra Lounge) where I seem to be making my last stop for the nights for a nightcap or two (just realised don't have a pic of it, must get one :-))

First night in went for a drive up the strip to get some night pics of the pretty lights. Here's just a few, as there are plenty of the sames pics all over the place :-)

The 1st day Gary said we'd go for a little trip just out of Vegas to see a cool little town Primm.

Two nights ago, we went to a place fro tea (a late tea - around 11pm) . wish I'd got more pics as it was cool, and had great music going on there; nothing but rock!

The car was left there that night :-)

Yesterday, went for a wonder around. Came across this street duo (that Gary had seen and knew about before). I have some video, and will find some you tube, that this dude, plays the Bass like a different instrument;.. a (non-trivial) bass line line with a a melody done on high bass strings at the same time. Man, can he play!

Ok, Nuch had her nails done by this street nail girl. Since it was free, and the girl doing it was very *HOT* I let her out a guitar on my nail

It is now Thursday about to hit the strip to find some lunch. The plan was the Gran canyon today (will be rescheduling), but the other two are a bit sick (Nuch picked up something on San Fran). I am popping Vit C as well as daily wine and bourbon to try and avoid getting it :-)

Need to organise to see a show or 2 as well. More to come (ie the stuff that doesn't just "Stay in Vegas") :-)
